Exciting STEM challenge!

Intermediate students have been working on an exciting and challenging ‘space’ unit surrounding NASA’s Artemis program.

Today we began an exciting challenge! Using our coding knowledge we will be 3-d printing a Lunar Rover, which will be powered by arduino’s. It will have to navigate an unknown course in the classroom.

Teams are now working on creating the best prototype for our Rover. The school has purchased four motors and wheels for teams to use in their design. Photos to follow!

Juniors – Pizza Monday

First of all, welcome to everyone!  Hopefully, people subscribe and are able to follow this year’s adventures on my blog.

Monday – junior students are reminded to bring in their pizza toppings as we continue our math adventures through cooking!  Pi .. Pie… ironically, if we made a square pizza we wouldn’t be squaring numbers and working with pi!  That’s a bad math joke…
